UK Bailiwick of Guernsey 4 Doubles FEATURING front: National arms Lettering: GUERNESEY The coat of arms of Guernsey is the official symbol of the Channel Island of Guernsey. It is a red shield with three gold lions (historically described as leopards) passant guardant surmounted by a small branch of leaves. It is very similar to the arms of Normandy, Jersey and England. The Seal of Guernsey closely follows the Coat of Arms, it originates from 1279 when a single seal was provided by Edward I for joint use in Guernsey and Jersey. The seal comprised 3 Luparts, leopards (or lions). By 1304 separate seals were provided for each Bailiwick. • quantity 1 • demonetized {no longer in circulation} polished Bronze coin • diameter: 26.4 mm • weight: 4.8 g ***Choose from drop down menu *** {2 mm thick cords} 22" black cotton necklace 24" brass ball chain 2-1/2" brass snake keychain with snap end {see last photo} **If you need a different length cotton necklace, leave a note upon checkout** facebook.com/coinedJewelry instagram.com/coinedJewelry twitter.com/coinedJewelry pinterest.com/coinedJewelry tumblr.com/blog/coinedJewelry
